Every time. This is the most important thing to understand about TrayScrap's referral program. When you refer a dental office, your commission isn't a one-time payment — you earn on every purchase TrayScrap makes at that office, indefinitely.

Dental offices produce scrap continuously: gold crowns, PFM restorations, casting buttons, polishing dust. TrayScrap returns regularly to buy it. Each visit is a separate transaction, and you earn your commission percentage on each one. Refer one office that we visit four times a year, and you collect four commissions from that single referral.

You start at 5% and your rate grows as your network does. For every 10 successful purchases completed across all your referred offices, your commission rate increases by 1% — applied starting on the next purchase after you hit each milestone.

Tier structure:
• Purchases 1–10: 5%  ·  Purchases 11–20: 6%  ·  Purchases 21–30: 7%
• Purchases 31–40: 8%  ·  Purchases 41–50: 9%  ·  Purchase 51+: 10% (max)

Because each office visit is its own transaction, a network of 5 offices with quarterly visits can reach higher tiers faster than you'd think. Past commissions are never recalculated — each purchase locks in the rate at that moment.

When someone clicks your unique referral link and submits a valuation request on TrayScrap.com, that lead is automatically attributed to your account. Once TrayScrap visits the office and makes a purchase, the material value is logged and your commission is credited. You see everything in your personal dashboard — pending, approved, and paid.

To ensure accuracy and fairness. Each commission is based on the actual material value confirmed at the time of the visit — not estimates. Once the purchase is processed and the value is logged, the referral is approved and your commission is credited. This typically happens within a few business days of the visit.

No cap on total earnings — ever. The only cap is on the commission rate itself, which maxes out at 10% after 50 successful purchases. But you can refer unlimited offices, and each office can generate unlimited recurring purchases. Your income is only limited by the size of your network.

Once commissions are approved, your balance accumulates in your dashboard. You can request a payout at any time directly from the Payments tab — enter your Zelle name and contact, specify the amount, and TrayScrap sends payment via Zelle within 2 business days. You can see the full history of requests and proof of payment in your dashboard.

No problem — you only earn when a purchase is made. Referrals that don't convert to a transaction simply stay in pending status and don't affect your account. There's no penalty and no expiration on pending referrals.
